Pokedex launches for iOS devices

The Pokémon Company announced that the Official Pokédex has been released for all iOS devices today. The app contains an illustrated encyclopaedia of more than 640 Pokémon and will help fans gain further insight to the world of Pokémon right from their iOS systems!

When installed, the app comes preloaded with all of the Unova region Pokémon unlocked and fully packed with detailed and dynamic 360-degree images of all the Pokémon with a full encyclopaedia entry for each them, including name, height and weight, type, Ability, and moves they can learn. Each Pokémon’s entry includes the locations where the Pokémon can be found in Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2 as well as their AR code so the Pokémon can be seen in 3D!

After installing Pokédex for iOS, you can then search the app’s Store to purchase the full National Pokédex, region by region: Kanto Pokédex (National Pokédex No. 001–151), Johto Pokédex (National Pokédex No. 152–251), Hoenn Pokédex (National Pokédex No. 252–386), and Sinnoh Pokédex (National Pokédex No. 387–493) for £3.99 each. Every regional Pokédex features the same level of detailed information as that provided by the Unova Pokédex.
