Currently going on this weekend is the Intel Extreme Masters this time happening at Katowice in Poland. The event stars the best of the best duking it out on games such as Starcraft 2, World of Tanks and League of Legends. We will be covering what is happening on the League of Legends tournament over this three day event.

The first day of LoL action involved four teams in group A fighting for the chance to qualify for the semi finals which can only be taken up by two teams from each group. The teams included in group A were: Gambit Gaming (Russia), Meet Your Makers (Poland), Azubu Blaze (South Korea) and Curse (North America). Look at how the teams heald up.

1st Match: Gambit Gaming vs Azubu Blaze. Winner = Azubu Blaze

2nd Match: Meet Your Maker vs Curse. Winner = Meet Your Maker

3rd Match: Gambit Gaming vs Curse. Winner = Curse

4th Match: Meet Your Maker vs Azubu Blaze. Winner = Azubu Blaze

5th Match: Gambit Gaming vs Meet Your Maker. Winner = Gambit Gamers

6th Match: Azubu Blaze vs Curse. Winner = Azubu Blaze

Due to the final scores, Azubu Blaze will be going through however the other three teams are all neck & neck for the last spot in the semi-finals. The result as to who will get through to the next round of the tournament will be clear as of tomorrow when group B has their matches.
