Halo 4 Map Pack DLC Dates Leaked!

Woops... the release dates for Halo 4 Map Pack DLC have been leaked onto the internet by a screenshot of a German Xbox 360 Dashboard, spotted by HaloCouncil forum user xJumPeR_JumPzZ (reported by MP1st).

In the coming months 343 Industries were expected to be releasing 3 new map packs, however you guys can expect to get them on the following dates:

- Crimson Map Pack: December 10

- Majestic Map Pack: February 25

- Castle Map Pack: April 1

These dates were found in a screenshot of an advert placed on a German Xbox 360 dashboard, and you can either buy these map packs separately when they come out or those with a season pass will have an automatic download upon release!

What's In Each Map Pack?

The Crimson map pack includes three maps: 'Wreckage', 'Harvest' and 'Shatter'. According to 343 "players will witness the chaos of a clash of civilisations" in Wreckage, "venture into the human colony environs" in Harvest and "explore a human foray on an alien moon" in Shatter.

The Majestic map pack includes 'Landfall', 'Monolith' and 'Skyline. Landfall features "infantry battles against a glittering ocean on a distant world" whereas Monolith "exposes you to the naked vacuum of space", while Skyline provides "new challenges in soemwhat familiar, but occasionally confined space".

Finally the Castle map pack will have 'Daybreak', 'Outcast' and 'Peredition'. Daybreak is a "military facility against the backdrop of a idyllic mountain range", whereas Outcast has you running through "warrens, canyons and arches of an alienedifice". Last but not least Peredition "takes players into the heard of a urban sprawl, with tactical speed and situational awareness its key features".

Who is looking forward to some more insane multiplayer action?

I've played games for pretty much as long as I can remember, hoping to one day turn my love into a career. I'm in my final Masters year of University while writing for VGU, I love the design and production management type stuff and I will happily try any game at least once!
