Ladies and Gentlemen, today is the day a new Pokemon announcement hit the internet. At 11am GMT, a Nintendo Direct video went live here in the UK. We already know the contents of the video, it was announced sometime last week that there was to be an announcement from Nintendo regarding something to do with Pokemon. What that announcement would be was unknown...until now!
A brand new pokemon game has been announced! Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. These will be the first games in the series not to use colours in the name. They will be a 3D pokemon game featuring on the Nintendo 3DS. This is the first fully animated 3D pokemon adventure. There will be brand new pokemon, but also the classic pokemon too. The Nintendo direct also showed off the battles, these too, are fully 3D and animated. The best bit, the games will be released worldwide at the same time in October 2013. This will be the first time that a main pokemon game will be released at the same time all around the world!
This is a HUGE announcement for the Pokemon series and another giant step from the team at Game Freak. We cannot wait to find out more information!
